Tribute Gifts

Making a gift in honor or in memory of someone special is a meaningful way to celebrate their life and legacy while supporting Northwest State students. When you make your donation, simply indicate the name of the person you wish to honor or remember. Join Us at Our Events

Another meaningful way to give is by joining us at one of our annual fundraising events. From the elegant Green Carpet Gala to the community-favorite Van Wert Campus Golf Outing and the fun-filled Purse Bingo, each event brings people together to celebrate education, connection, and the power of giving. Your participation not only creates memorable experiences but also helps provide scholarships and opportunities for our students.

Outright Gifts

Outright gifts are generally received through the annual fund and may be immediately used by the NSCC Foundation for scholarships, academics, or to help fund the construction of capital projects. Such gifts may include:

  • Tangible personal property
  • Real estate
  • Life insurance
  • Closely held stock

Planned and Major Gifts

The term planned giving refers to any charitable gift that is planned before it is made. Planned gifts can take many forms. The manner in which you decide to support the NSCC Foundation is a matter of personal preference, and the choice of the gift should always be best suited to the needs and desires of the donor. Future gifts help to ensure the long-term growth of Northwest State and provide you with tax advantages, as well as the personal satisfaction of supporting a cause you believe in.
