What Do You Want To Do?

If you're still not sure what field you want to study, check out the Academic Programs. You can browse all the degrees & certificates Northwest State has to offer.

Let's Talk

Click here to contact us or to visit campus. A Northwest State Community College representative will be in contact with you.

Your next step is to fill out our admissions application form.

Contact your high school to request an official transcript. This needs to come directly to NSCC from the high school via email, mail, or fax. Contact admissions for any questions. Email at admissions@NorthwestState.edu or call 419.267.1320

Financial Aid

Next, let's investigate financial aid opportunities. Fill out the FAFSA. Dependent students and their parents should each apply for a FSA ID. (Northwest State’s school code is 008677) Then find scholarships that are available.

All degree-seeking students are required to either submit their ACT/SAT test scores, or complete the ACCUPLACER Assessment. You are not rewarded or penalized for your scores on the ACCUPLACER Assessment; it is just one of the many tools that your advisor will use to help you register for classes.

After receiving your acceptance letter, all degree-seeking students must complete the Student Orientation Advising and Registration Assessment on your MyNSCC Portal

Schedule a meeting with your advisor to select your classes. Contact the Advising Center to schedule an appointment. Call us if you have any questions at 419.267.1390

Important Dates

All important dates are listed on the NSCC Academic Calendar. It is important that you are aware of payment and registration deadlines. Payment is due before classes begin, and you will need to submit payment for your tuition and fees in order to maintain your seat in the class.

Student ID

Get your student ID card at the campus police office in the atrium.

The NSCC Bookstore is conveniently located just off the Atrium near the NSCC Library and Snack Bar commons area. In addition to new, used, electronic and rental textbooks, the bookstore also offers class supplies and materials, laptops and software, clothing items and grab-and-go snack and food items.
