Overview
Engineering technology and computer technology prepares learners for careers as engineering technologist or in the areas of computer programming, IT, or Cybersecurity. Engineering technology is the practical application of concepts and ideas from science and engineering to solve real-world problems. Engineering technology graduates can find jobs with titles such as engineer, technician, or technologist among other titles. Graduates of computer technology programs can find jobs as programmers, software engineers, or network administrators among others. Programs in this area also allow students to seamlessly transfer to four-year programs in similar areas to complete bachelor’s degrees.
