PUBLIC SERVICE COMMUNITY

Overview

Do you enjoy helping people? Enjoy teaching? Interested in public safety and security? The public services pathway is a great way to explore a wide range of careers that complement these interests. Examples of jobs in this community include correctional officer supervisors, teachers, community health workers, or substance abuse and behavioral counselor.

This community has been designed to introduce learners to the array of majors offered in the public service field. The majors in the pathway also offer transferability to four-year institutions for bachelor's degrees and beyond!
