In addition to the steps below, you will want to make sure you have an official copy of any transcripts sent to the Office of Admissions at NSCC. The institution can send them by email to Admissions@NorthwestState.edu.

Complete Placement Testing

In order to help us get you ready for advising and the correct class sequence, we require students to complete testing coming into NSCC. You can either submit scores from a previously taken ACT/SAT or schedule a time to complete the Accuplacer. The Accuplacer is a placement test that covers skill in writing, reading, and mathematics. The OLR is a required assessment for all students looking to take an online course.
