Northwest State welcomes students from all backgrounds and understands that not everyone learns the same way. The NSCC Accessibility Services Office is here to help students who need special assistance to meet their educational goals.
Under the Americans with Disabilities Act and Section 504, a student with a disability may obtain assistance to help achieve educational goals. For those who are eligible, the office assists with:
- Extended time to complete tests
- Providing test readers
- Identifying note takers
- Procuring auditory books
- Other services as needed
Please explore the resources below, as well as the accessibility services section of the academic catalog, to learn more.
For more information on accommodations designed to help make education accessible, what qualifies as a service dog or service animal, or any other questions related to assistance for those who are disabled, please contact Dave Donaldson, accessibility services coordinator, at 419.267.1265, ddonaldson@NorthwestState.edu or visit A105B.
