Medical Assisting & Phlebotomy Graduates Recognized

Eleven students completing Northwest State Community College’s medical assisting associate degree or phlebotomy technician certificate program were recently recognized during spring Commencement. Both options lead to entry-level positions in the health care field, and students earning the phlebotomy technician certificate may choose to continue their education for an associate degree in medical assisting.


The following graduates were honored:

Fulton County: Amy Huffman* (Delta), Deborah Gillen (Wauseon), Aimeth Rosillo Babadilla (Wauseon), Madison Zimmerman (Delta)

Henry County: Danielle Rieger (Napoleon), Taylor Smith (Napoleon), Rachel Thomas (Holgate)

Lenawee (MI) County: Erin Vanderpool* (Morenci)

Putnam County: Chelsea Hoffman (Leipsic)

Williams County: Ava Moats-Landis* (Bryan), Hannah Minck (Edgerton),

*Denotes medical assisting graduates. All others are phlebotomy graduates.
