Training Coordinator – JFS Workforce Opportunities

The JFS workforce training coordinator is responsible for developing and implementing employment and training services programs and projects as directed by the JFS workforce director to address the Comprehensive Case Management and Employment Program (CCMEP) objectives in the identified service region. Responsibilities include:  serving as a liaison between Custom Training Solutions (CTS) and the area Job and Family Service (JFS) agencies; identify qualified CCMEP participants to enroll in employment and training services; coordinate with CTS team members to create employment and training services; assist with the development of policies to assure compliance with state and federal laws; maintain and ensure confidentiality on all matters. Food Services Assistant-Part Time

Applications are being accepted for a part-time food services assistant. This position will assist the food services supervisor and cook in all food service operations. Normal weekly hours are 20-25 for 9 months per year, plus summer days based on department needs. Normal working hours are between the hours of 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. Monday-Friday. Clinical Teaching Assistant

Applications are being accepted for a custodian position. This position is responsible for specialized and routine cleaning and maintaining the College’s buildings, classrooms, restrooms, labs and offices to ensure the safety, health and welfare of the students, faculty, staff and the general public. Normal weekly hours: full-time 40 for 12 months per year. Work hours between 5 a.m. and 10 p.m.. Hours will vary due to operational situations. Philosophy Faculty (Part-Time)

NSCC is seeking a qualified part-time instructor to teach philosophy. The part-time philosophy faculty will work closely with full-time humanities and/or philosophy faculty and the dean in their leadership, development, assessment and evaluation of curriculum and will provide assessment and other student retention and success-related information as required. The qualified applicant must hold a master’s degree in the discipline or a master’s degree with 18 graduate credit hours in philosophy, humanities, or other related field.
