MANUFACTURING FOUNDATIONS CERTIFICATE

Program Overview

There is a critical need for more students to go into manufacturing and Engineering professions. Because of that need OhioTechNet and Ohio High ED worked with the Ohio Manufacturers Association to develop the Manufacturing Foundations Certificate. This program was designed by the ODHE and OhioTechNet and endorsed by the Ohio Engineering Technology Educators Association and the Ohio Manufactures Association.

 

Career Outlook

The Occupations that these students can go into are: Manufacturing, Engineering, Design, Drafting, Maintenance, Machining, Associate’s Degrees in Engineering and Manufacturing, along with Bachelor’s Degrees in Engineering and Manufacturing the program was designed to be stackable. Students can get the certificate and go straight to work or they can continue on with an Associate’s Degree and then get a Bachelor’s Degree if they choose.
