The Center for Lifelong Learning has two trips planned for the 14-15 academic year:

  • October 14-15, 2014: Behind the Scenes on Ohio’s North Coast
  • April 19-23, 2015: Memphis, TN

Behind the Scenes on Ohio’s North Coast, October 14-15, 2014
Fifty seats are available and early registration is encouraged. The $390 fee includes lodging, meals and tips, transportation and admission fees to various attractions.

The trip will leave from the east parking lot of NSCC on Tuesday, October 14 at 8 a.m. The itinerary includes:

  • Behind the scenes tour at The Blade
  • City tour of Cleveland, Ohio
  • Rock and Roll Hall of Fame
  • “Motown the Musical” in the historic Playhouse Square District
  • Cleveland Botanical Garden
  • Behind the scenes tour at Cedar Point, including presentations on carousel restoration, ride maintenance, landscaping and culinary operations

The tour will return to Northwest State at approximately 8 p.m. on Wednesday, October 15. For more details or information on how to register, check out the August CLL newsletter.

Spring Memphis Trip, April 19-23, 2015
Reservations will open on February 15, with the final payment due on March 15. The itinerary includes:

  • National Civil Rights Museum
  • Graceland
  • Tour of Sun Studio
  • Dinner and entertainment on Beale Street
  • Dyess Colony, the boyhood home of Johnny Cash
  • And more
