One-day seminars are held several times a year at Northwest State Community College. The events include keynote speakers, hands-on activities and time to interact with fellow lifelong learners.

Seminar #54, Blowin’ in the Wind is scheduled for Friday, October 16, 2015.

Join the Center for Lifelong Learning for a different type of seminar! A bus will transport the group to the Paulding/Van Wert area to see hundreds of wind turbines. Eric Romich, OSU Extension field specialist for energy development, will be on board to present facts and information about wind power. The bus will return to NSCC by 12:30 p.m. for lunch and round table discussions.

This seminar is $10 per person to cover the cost of transportation. Please reserve your spot by Friday, October 2.
