Full-Time Associate Degree Nursing Faculty

Part-Time Nursing Clinical Instructor: NRS 216
NSCC is seeking a qualified part-time nursing clinical instructor for NRS 216 Physiologic Health Needs II starting fall 2016. This is a medical-surgical clinical nursing course with a chronic health, rehab focus. The clinical experience occurs in a variety of settings with a rehab focus. Students expand their knowledge with patients with chronic health issues and provide nursing care using a team approach. Must have an unrestricted RN license in the state of Ohio, a minimum of two years of RN clinical experience, and a BSN degree, MSN preferred. Adjunct Accounting Instructor
NSCC is seeking a qualified instructor to teach two sections of our ACC120 Payroll Accounting course this fall semester (M & W 8-9:15 a.m. and T 5:45-7 p.m.). This course includes teaching various phases of the Social Security Act, unemployment compensation, and federal withholding tax, with considerable emphasis on the study of timekeeping systems and systems of accounting used in keeping payroll and wage records. Students complete the necessary federal and state tax reports and apply payroll accounting concepts to microcomputer applications. The position will start on August 14 and end December 17, 2016. Our preference is for a candidate with at least 3 years of payroll experience in an accounting firm or large employer. Must have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in accounting, with a master’s degree preferred. Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
