Keep in mind that October 7 is the last day to withdraw from a 16 week fall class at NSCC.  Students withdrawing from a course by the deadline will earn a “W” on their transcript.  After October 7 students must remain enrolled in the course for the remainder of the semester.

Withdrawals may affect financial aid and scholarship eligibility.  Students with financial aid assistance or scholarship awards should check with the financial aid department prior to withdrawing from courses.

For students who are changing majors or looking for new enrollment options, some courses are scheduled to begin October 15 and run for the last eight weeks of the semester.  The eight week  schedule is available online on the NSCC home page under calendars and schedules.
